Meet the Instructors
Kenneth Meunier is a sought-after teacher and choreographer whose professional credits include performing as a dancer at Walt Disney World and with Stiletto Entertainment (Holland America Cruise Line). His choreography has been featured in productions for PGT Entertainment (Princess and Regent Cruise Lines). Ken has been teaching dance in the North Country for 15 years, and is continuing his legacy at Evergreen Dance Studio.
Quinn Soucy has been a member of the Evergreen staff since 2015. She trained at Creative Edge Dance Studio for 10 years, then continued her training at Deerfield Academy where she choreographed multiple showcases and founded a competitive dance team. Quinn’s professional credits include performing as a dancer at Walt Disney World and choreographing here at Evergreen. She is a certified International Ballet Barre Fitness Association and Progressing Ballet Technique instructor.
Corey Starr has been dancing since the age of 5. A majority of her dance education growing up was with Paula Meola Dance out of Sterling Massachusetts. Studying many different disciplines: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop, as well as competing in local and national dance competitions along the East Coast. After graduating Corey attended the Associates Dance Program at Dean College in Franklin, MA to further her dance education. She has been instructing since 2007, with many pieces of her choreography receiving divisional high scores and recognition. With a well rounded background, she enjoys and has the ability to teach many different styles to all ages, however really thrives with tap, jazz and hip hop. “I love being the first dance teacher some students have! I feel so privileged to get to live out my passion every day, as well as getting to share it with others. Instilling and watching the love of dance bloom in each dancers heart through hard work and dedication is such a gift. Dance is a huge part of who I am, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!!”
Veronica Factory is an experienced dance professional who is passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. She creates a supportive and nurturing environment where students can thrive.
Nicole Luurtsema, a lifelong dancer from Vermont and New Hampshire, has trained in jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. With 8 years of teaching experience and a passion for dance, Nicole brings her expertise and love for the art to Evergreen, aiming to foster a positive and growth-oriented environment for all dancers, promoting self-expression through movement.
Mary Madsen has been dancing her whole life. She holds a BFA in dance from the University of Milwaukee-WI and brings with her over 20 years of experience as a professional modern dancer in New York City.
She has choreographed solo & multi-media works, dance films, and collaborated with many NYC based choreographers throughout her career. Highlights include working closely with Third Rail Projects and Jody Oberfelder Projects on several immersive productions blending dance and theater. In her teaching, Mary encourages curiosity, self expression, empathy, and fun. “I love sharing my background and helping other artists grow and find their own unique voice through dance.”
